    • Very easy to use. No painting needed, just remove the pre-cut belts from the backing paper, thread them though the buckles and fit them to your model. The straps can be set to whatever length you need, just as on the real thing. The set includes one sheet of photo etched parts with the buckles and clasps, one set of pre-cut paper straps (beige), one piece of pre-cut padding for the lab-belt (brown), and a detailed assembly guide.

    • Suitable for any type of US-manufactured aircraft from mid-30s to the middle of World War 2.

    • The "paper" used on these seatbelts has a high rag content and no lignin (meaning that it is actually a "textile" material), it is acid free and died in the grain. Why is this better than "fabric"? Fabric was considered and tested, then it was abandoned for the following reasons:

    • Fabric is hard to cut properly. The edges will often fray. The paper used on these seatbelts will always keep a well-defined edge.
    • The paper used on these seatbelts is extremely easy to "set" and stay on the model if you moisten it slightly. Fabric tends to be "springy" and will not settle like real seatbelts.
    • Real seatbelts have a very "tight" and "solid" look about them. Seatbelt strap weaves are usually quite fine and the threads tend to be around 1mm on the coarsest materials, but usually they are much finer. In scale 1/32 such coarse thread would be 0.03mm, which is basically one fifth of the thickness of a human hair. There is no way such weave or thread could ever be visible on accurately-scaled straps. The paper used on these seatbelts provides the correct "tight" and "solid" look of the real thing.
    • "Fabrics" tends to have a "plain weave" respectively a perpendicular "over and under" pattern. No seatbelt material is ever woven like that - most of them tend to be a "twill pattern". Furthermore, no matter how tightly the fabric is woven, on the fabric material used for "fabric" seatbelts there are fine gaps between the threads and as a result the seatbelt will be slightly translucent. The paper used on these seatbelts provides the correct thickness and opacity of the real thing.

1/32 Perforated Steel Planking (or Marsden Matting)

    Suitable for display bases.

Perforated Steel Planking (or Marsden Matting) was extensively used by the United States in rapid building of landing strips / aircraft pens. These were used in all theatres of operations, not only in World War 2, but also in Korea and Vietnam. These are still in use in some parts of the world.

This is a relatively large photo etched sheet (A5 size).

When all “planks” are assembled, the PSP will cover a rectangular area approximately 100x200mm. These can be arranged in a multitude of configurations – the possibilities are endless. The "planks" can be joined like the real thing.

    • Scale 1/32. "Sutton A" Seat Harness.
    • Designed by Oliver Sutton in 1917, this was the "Jack-of-all-trades" harness used on all British-made / RAF aircraft from 1918 until the beginning of WW2 (and even after). Suitable for all interwar British aircraft, especially biplanes.
    • These harnesses saw action at the end of WW1 - if you come across a mention of a "Sutton Harness" used on a WW1 aircraft, this was it. For example, this type of seat harness was used on the RAF SE5a, Sopwith Camel and Sopwith Pup at the end of the war. These are suitable for the new British Wingnut Wings kits when built as late-war and interwar British biplanes. This type of seat harness is still in use today on the Tiger Moth and is still in production.

    • Regarded as extremely efficient yet simple, this type of seat harness was sold under licence all over the world.

    • This type of seat harness also widely used on Soviet aircraft of WW2 such as MiG-3, Yak-1, Yak-7, Yak-9 and Yak-3 as well as many others.

    • This was also used on a variety of Polish aircraft such as PZL P-11 and PZL 23 Karas.

    • No painting needed, just remove the pre-cut belts from the backing paper, glue the detail parts, thread them though the buckles and fit them to your model. The straps can be set to whatever length you need. The set includes two sheets of photo etched parts with the buckles in stainless steel and grommets in brass, two sets of pre-cut paper straps and a detailed assembly guide.

    • 1/32 Rigging Turnbuckles

These turnbuckles also feature a "hexagonal" middle section and a perforation, just like the real thing.

    • This package also includes "hooks" that can help with securing the turnbuckles to the airframe.
